W124 LSD differential with 2.82 gears
This is the factory LSD from a 300SD with stub shafts and end plates from a M119 124 (400E). Installing this give you 2.82 gears and a LSD differential, but ASR will not function with this diff. I ran this in my stock non-ASR 400E for a year or so. Details of this type of unit can be found by searching on MBWorld. $400 plus shipping, and this is not light. I will be driving from Denver, CO to Gainesville, FL a couple of times this winter, so if you are interested and along a reasonable route in that direction, we might be able to work something out. If you want it shipped, figure on 100 lbs. from 80403 and tell me how you want it shipped. Please don't ask for shipping quotes.

Um, you do know that it would cost about $1500 in parts (not including labor) to build this diff, right? IIWY, I'd grab it fast before someone else does. If it were for ASR I'd have already bought it.
