Hello, I just sold my car, but I have the carbon air box left over that the buyer negotiated a price without. It's in *like-new condition*, and only been installed once. This will also be the only time it has been removed.
It is a stunning piece and, while RT claims a 25bhp gain, I saw a peak 18whp gain from it myself. Will fit all 5.5-liter V12 Twin Turbo engines (will not fit S65). New is $5500.00 from Renntech and dealers online, letting this one go for $2450 + Shipping.
I'm not sure how much shipping is going to be given the size and shape, but insured it won't be cheap (over $100). Still, much less than half price over new savings ($5500.00 MSRP), and probably the only one offered up for sale anywhere used in the USA, you'll save big. I wish I had a magic way to make that fit in my budget, but I am thinking my speedriven intake and LSD/slicks would be a better go fast upgrade. Good Luck with finding it a home, it is so pretty under the hood

Hey man! I know this car ... Fast Friday's, right??? I drive the 06 Silver SL65 and also have the pair of old 73 Trans Ams that show up at Chad's place from time to time. I have been wanting a CF airbox for my SL for some time now. But the TAs both need new shoes for cruise season. Hmmmmm ... decisions, decisions. At least you wouldn't need to ship, right?

it definitely is an eye-catcher. Car will be at Aristocrat Motors this pm if you want to check out the intake. Just getting an SRS light fixed (ring behind steering wheel). I remove the intake right after and deliver car..

Hey Guys - check out this S63 RENNTech Bi-turbo Matte finish W221.
It was at the track last weekend. Really nice revving sounds!
This was going down the track at Capital Raceway. Pretty nice but wish the runs were much better.
