V8 Thermostat 170 Degree
I have a Thermostat that is machined to 170 Degrees. Stock is 189 if I am correct. It will fit any of the V8's from the 2000's.
I purchased this a year ago and never installed it. It only takes two bolts on the engine top and you do not loose much coolant to install.
The guy that once made and sold these may not do it any more. I never figured out how he machined or changed out the metal sensor inside the case.
$140.00 + ship.

All PMs answered... I was out of the country and did not get a chance to respond earlier. Price still remains the same at $140 shipped anywhere in the states. The Thermostat looks slightly used, I'm assuming the previous owner had it installed but I never installed it on my car. As far as I can remember there was a user who refurbished MB thermostats with the 170* components. Please let me know if you need any other details.
