Try calling LKQ recyclers, probably your best bet for late model MB inventory. http://www.pgauto.com/
Your car has the "273" engine. The E coupe, especially the 550 is somewhat rare, but you may be able to find one from another model although some parts like the oil pan may have to be swapped. Why have you not filed an insurance claim? Comp and collision usually covers this type of damage.

Thanks very much for the tip. I will reach out and see if they have any inventory or can keep a search out for me. I purchased (got screwed) from Copart. This was a prior flood salvage car that they advertised as Run & Drive verified. The motor is toast so not sure how it ever could have met that description. Hence the law suit I am about to lay on them...

I received info for a guy on Ebay that indicated a 2007 S550 motor will fit but the oil pans, power steering pumps and engine wire harness would also need moved... Sounds like a jury Rig to me...
