just turn your stock into ROW. take a pair of dikes and cut all the small plastic going across, then take a heat gun and and apply heat to the black part that goes around the box and lift up, it's only glued on there, it took me about an hour and it's just as good.

That messes up the air flow. Not the same as running ROW boxes.

I would do this, and have thought about it, but the only thing I am unsure of is the MAF sensors. I believe they are different on the ROWs. I could be wrong. Ill spend money on a lot of things, but not the ROWs. Just not sold they make the impact. Good filters and a charcoal delete ok, but the ROWs themselves? Not convinced.

Curious, what's the difference in ROW air boxes, and stock? Obviously, it's believed that they flow more air - but does this just give you a more throaty sound? Does it provide a couple more ponies? Cooler intake charge? Do the ROWs consist of the uppers and lowers? How 'bout the intake tube from the grille area?
