EQB v GLB seats

Are the EQB's seats identical to that in the GLB? I've tried the GLB in the past and found the seats too hard. Does that mean I should rule out the EQB?

Maybe.

The GLBs for the USA are assembled in Mexico and the EQB is assembled in Hungary. The seats look virtually identical but it's possible they are provided by different suppliers or use different internal materials based on their source.

Only way to know is to sit in one.

Getting to a dealer and getting help there is a pain so I wanted to try and avoid it if it's the same seat.

Being a retired auto engineer I will guess they are identical. I agree that the GLB seats could be softer but I have the leather sport seats in my GLB so not sure that they are the same as the standard seat in stiffness or not.

Sport seats are too firm IMHO

We test drove a GLB AMG and found the seats too hard. So we dropped pursuit of the AMG trim in the EQB.

Distance comfort is going to be one of the big tests for our EQB. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll trade the EQB or C Class and go back to the E Wagon,
