Driver Assistance Package Lite actual contents 2023

Ok, my contact person at MBUSA HQ got back to me after two weeks of digging and found out what will be included in 2023 EQBs Driver Assistance Package Lite ($1300 code DF5 on data card). They will come with all 10 features advertised on mbusa.com, whether those individual features are itemized on the spec sheet or not. The only features of the original Drivers Assistance Package that will be missing in the 2023 Lite package are the 2 PRE SAFE features. So, yay! What a relief.

She also said that even if you ordered a third row, and ordered the all season rubber floor mats, you will only get 2 rows of the mats. Not 3, like it says on mbusa.com.

And she clarified that for all 2023 EQBs, ventilated seats are NOT available, but heated seats are. Make sure your EQB order (if it hasn't been built) has just heated seats listed on the data card. My EQB and a few other people on here that opted for heated/ventilated seats didn't get either on their build.

Hopefully this is helpful to anyone waiting for their 2023 EQB!

I believe they are giving heated seats as a replacement if you do order the ventilated/heated combo. That is what my dealer updated me on. The car is now in Baltimore so the truth be known soon. However, it is dishonest that 2023 doesn't have as some earlier 2023 builds have (that I see sitting on lots unless the button shown in photos don't work). I'm just frustrated that I ordered in March of 2022 and they couldn't have put the equipment aside knowing they are running out of parts. Either that or they don't have good communication with the supplier.

I hope you get your heated seats. I agree it’s not fair and communication with the supplier is a mess for these cars.

My dealer offered to pay for a third party to install heated seats when my EQB arrived without them. But one thing I’ve realized since is that the EQB’s “pre-climate control” feature would warm your seats for you as part of the pre-climate control—but probably only if they were factory installed. And you can save a lot of battery range by using seat heaters more than air to warm you up.

Keep us posted on how it turns out for you.

Have your dealer email you the data card. If the optional heated seats are not listed, they are not installed. You don't need to wait for the car to arrive to know what's going on and it can help avoid surprise aggravation at delivery.

Does anyone know if the GLB has all season rubber mats for the third row? Just wondering if this omission is by design or if it might be a feature that comes along later.

I had ordered heated and ventilated seats on my 2023 GLB but the vent. part got deleted by the factory but I got everything else I ordered.
