Not likely, IMHO. It’s a mechanical twin to the EQB and both were released in the UK and Europe earlier than the USA. If it was intended for the USA, MB would have announced it by now.
However, MB is also hard at work on the its next-gen small EV platform, codenamed MMA, which includes the eventual replacement for the current EQB and could spawn other small EVs in the US market.
