How much for service B?

Just trying to see how much it should cost and what are the services? I only got a used eqb300 recently and they already service most things so I'm curious if they just didn't reset the service dates.

There is little to do. New wiper blades, cabin dust filter, and brake fluid every two years...not remotely close to worth it to spend $700 or so at the dealer. Don't bother with the wipers until you need it, the dust filter is super easy to do yourself--get a new filter at Rock Auto or Amazon for $20. My brake fluid is 'due', but I checked the water content and it is still at 0%...I'm going to wait on that. I do it myself, so will just keep an eye on it.

Oil & filter and brake fluid flush are normally included in the B service price. Other stuff -- wipers, cabin filter, tire balance/rotation, etc. -- are usually extra depending on the dealer. The rest of it is a walk around visual inspection of fluid levels, brakes, tires, etc. that every car owner should learn to do him/herself for safety.

Ah right. Then the dealer just have been trying to get me spend more money. Car was sold from one dealer to another this year. Based on the 2024 records, it been serviced at least 4 times in 1 year.

I just want to make sure that Im not voiding any CPO warranty if I don't get it done at the dealer. Because they said I can only service the car with them.

If they said you can only service the car with them, they are flat out lying. You will not void the warranty. The only way this would come into play is for example if you had a gas engine, you didn't change the oil, and you had a related engine failure--that would void the warranty. I think the only barely plausible thing related to the EQB is you don't change the brake fluid, and something bad happens to the master cylinder or something. Brake fluid is cheap--maybe just do that on schedule and keep proof, and do the wipers and filters yourself when needed. Doesn't hurt to keep receipts to show you are monitoring the situation. I don't recall what needs to be serviced down the road, but that's for another day.

How do you reset the indicator so it doesn't keep prompting you?

Reset procedures vary by year and model. Search the forum and youtube.
