For sure the EQC is a very nice electric vehicle, and I am a huge Mercedes fan. I have a 2019 AMG G63 on order, but that's strictly for going to Starbucks on Saturday mornings. For my daily driver, I am looking for a very nice electric. Loved my 2018 Chevy Volt, but sold it as I got bored with it in a few months. But, why would I want an Benz EQC over a Tesla Model-X, equipped with Ludicrous? Model-X does 0-60 in 2.9 secs, vs/ 4.9 in EQC. Model-X is supposed to upgrade from its current 100kW to a 120kW battery next year, and the beat goes on. Price is likely to be about the same for a Model-X and EQC. EQC screens are like the screens in the A-Class, except that's a $30k cheapie car.
Pls give me a reason to opt for the EQC, as I really love Mercs, and have driven them since 1998.
i didn’t see an option for the 120 yet but the model x is nearly 2x the projected EQC starting price. Perhaps as it matures Mercedes will offer different variants like Tesla. Perhaps there will be an AMG version. As far as your other disparaging comments I’ll take my tuna can Porsche, I have a Taycan deposit, because quality and driving will far exceed the Tesla. Porsche doesn’t build cars for 0-60 performance alone and I’m guessing the one that comparably priced to the 100d x,s models will have similar performance characteristics.
Another tip save 170k on the G wagen and just keep your eyes open for the potholes at your local Starbucks.

What i did not like about the design was that the interior of the sidedoors on the inside was higher than the window of the exterior. So when the windows were down it looked a bit awkard.
When the windows are up, there is a black inlay in the windows to hide it.
The outside is ok, very much like a soccer mom SUV, but goodness, the interior center console is awful! Those aircon vents are like add ons, reminded me of my dad's Vauxhall in the 70s when the aircon was installed afterwards. That door design is plain silly. Felt like this car is an afterthought. What is wrong with MB?!!!

I think the EQA would be a lot better.

I can't follow your thoughts on design. The car is coherent with MB's current design language. Door designs? When was the last time you sat in a Mercedes? This is how many MB models look.
