Last night our kids told us we had a visitor.
It was a very hungry reindeer.
One of my sons went out to look at it and the reindeer followed him up to the porch!
We didn't have any reindeer food so we hope it found something to eat later.
Or maybe it just wanted a look at the EQC? 😎
With that I can say
Happy New Year from Northern Sweden!
Note: Reindeers are free range cattle owned by Sapmi. They are not wild animals and therefore not very afraid of people.
OK, OK! You win the best wildlife photo with an EQC.
I am however reporting you for EQC abuse! Leaving her outside in such harsh conditions simply for the photo opportunity.
Happy New Year from Australia

Any proper car should endure our winters.
Many car makers (but not Volvo!!?) do their winter tests here in northern Sweden, about 200km west from our place.
The EQC performs well in -20 degrees celsius.
Do you see a drop in range as the weather gets colder? Does it take longer to charge? Intrigued electric cars are doing so well in Scandinavia.
I got our EQC in december so I have no idea about how much longer it takes to charge in winter.
Only have the 7,2kW charger but for my driving it is enough. Car sits at home about 10 hours every day and gets enough charge then for my driving.
Winter range is about 210-220 km when its -28 to -30 degrees celcius. When temperature around 0 range is about 300-310 km.
EQC is a great winter car as it is a BEV. You get instant heat by the heat pump and that makes all the difference,

Assuming you have had some sort of summer (it is raining here in France again as I type) what difference has it made to the range?
