Country Dependent Features
Mercedes-Benz does not do a very good PR job in disclosing what features are available by country. The online Guides and the Operator's Manual (hardcopy or electronic) are ambiguous.
This is my collection of the Canadian market:
Freebies
- Mercedes me Charge free for 1 year vs 2 years in the US
- SiriusXM radio 3-month free
Has
- Transparent Bonnet
- hands-free access to open the tailgate
Does not have
- alternate route selection in Navigation
- Remote Parking Assist
- Personal POI to allow USB file with red light and speed cameras for display on the Navigation screen
- 43U Animation Projection Function
- power closing doors & convenience doors feature
- acoustic vehicle alerting system (AVAS) - external sounds to warn pedestrians of vehicle operation
No definitive research done but it seems that the MBUX versions are different by country. My version is RL_NTG7_E329.501_22411AC3. Would be interested to hear what versions are installed in vehicles from other countries.

I was afraid someone would ask me that. I have what he has plus exterior sound generator for pedestrian safety, digital LED lights with animation & symbol projection function - part of the DA4 digital light package. I'm not sure what else to add since other features come with different "value added packages" For example I have rear wheel steering, dashcam, ventilated front seats, air suspension, DA2 driver assistance package, etc.

Ha sorry. I asked because I was curious about a few points. One, I didn't realize there were differences between US and Canada features, but I guess those two features, headlights and sound generator are largely influenced by regulations.
And I was also curious if there were differences between US sedan and SUV features. For the record, I have a 2023 EQE sedan and have the same version of software and also have 43U Animation Projection Function and exterior sound generator.

The most noticeable difference is there is now an option for sound experience outside. It now hums when unlocked and makes an audible lock double tone instead of the horn acoustic locking sound which is much better. There is also a slight noise when driving at low speeds outside and audible sound when plugged in and at the start of charging.

I got my EQE SUV back in June the version was RL_NTG7_E329.501_22411AC3 as well. It was updated at the service centre to E330.602_23063AC3
The most noticeable difference is there is now an option for sound experience outside. It now hums when unlocked and makes an audible lock double tone instead of the horn acoustic locking sound which is much better. There is also a slight noise when driving at low speeds outside and audible sound when plugged in and at the start of charging.

This is the anti-glare high beam vs Adaptive High beam Assist without the plus (US version) only has auto on-off high beam.

In Australia on the EQE53 Sedan, here are some things we have / don't have:

I thought I heard regs in USA was more relaxed lately (or more likely that regs approved the newer lighting technology) and Americans are also getting something that sort?

Yes, it has been "approved", but NHTSA makes it difficult for the manufacturers as it has a new set of rules and testing procedures which are different from European specs.
So it may take some years for the manufacturers to get the compliance testing in place, and so far, no manufacturer has managed to do so.

Most likely, contact the forum sponsor that posts very often (pretty sure you know who I am talking about : ) and ask. He could probably code it in for you like how he adpative high beam assist plus is enabled.
