Preconditioning and one pedal driving
Whenever we navigate to a charger (EA) we receive a message from the car that we should have navigated to a charger to allow the car to precondition. So far the distance to the charger has been relatively short < 5 miles. Also, the soc is typically above 30%. We have it set to allow for auto precondition. Is the soc too high or distance too short for preconditioning? Or is the message inaccurate?
Does anyone know how to set up the EQE so that it holds the car still without pressing the brakes? The setting made it feel like one pedal driving. I was able to stumble into it in the past, but recently had the SW Update Powertrain Control Unit Software2023100007. Not sure if this update removed the feature or not, but I’m unable to reconfigure it.

Preconditioning usually needs about 30 minutes or more. To enable one-pedal, disable creep mode in vehicle settings and then use the left steering wheel paddle to select Maximum Recuperation.
