Charging transactions
Duke Power sends me a home energy report every month. Last month I updated my profile to include my AMG EQEX4 into my mix. Today, I received my new report and my EV consumption was correctly identified over the period including the days of the week. So, is the car telling Duke? or is the charger telling Duke? The meter is read electronically so is the meter programed to monitor my charger?

It's the meter. It's able to see the constant 9.6kW load when charging. We have a smart meter with LG&E, but I also have a Sense Solar installed. Ironically, of all the things the Sense can detect using its AI transient profile detection, a single, steady 9.6kW load isn't one of them.

Gexa Energy has an EV plan where they ask you to register your EV with them to get free EV charging during the late PM/Early AM hours. I have an Emporia charger, and it can spit out a report any time I want.
