EQE Pricing
EQE Pricing
Noticing that my dealer (as well as several others I've checked) have relatively high inventory of 2024 EQE350. Have sales slowed to the point that dealers are discounting or are they still holding out for list price (or even a premium over list). Of course, it's driven by specific market but wondering if there are beginning to be ****** in the EV pricing models.

EQE pricing has been insanely discounted for a while now. Huge incentoved and lots of discounts. We're well passed the ****** being found.

I was at my dealer (MB Louisville) yesterday, and noticed almost no EQs. A few months ago, about 1/3rd of the lot was EQ models. Not sure if the dealer isn't putting in orders, or whether they're starting to move more of them. I heard that MB is adjusting its combustion sales strategy. I really hope they can get back behind the ball on the EQ series, they are absolutely magnificent cars.

I heard they were dropping the "EQ" thing entirely. If so we're driving the first and last generation of the EQE SUV. It'll just be called a GLE EV I guess. Anywho, makes the Maybach EQS SUV that much more baffling to me though. Seems like the wrong product at the wrong time, too expensive for a crashing EV market and right before next gen NACS models come out. Maybe they just needed to get rid of a bunch of parts taking up space in the warehouse, like all those back seat refrigerators nobody really wants.

Yeah, I'd also heard the same on the naming. I was never a huge fan of the naming convention, though I get why they did it. Current generation (including MOPF) will be sold through 2028, so I suspect it'll become E-class EV or just E-class then. I suspect EQ name will stick around for a little bit more, at least 2025.
EQE SUV and loving it

especially with rear wheel steering! It’s not perfect but very close! The fit and finish and attention to every detail is FRONT AND CENTER!
List prices are holding here in France but the car now has the hyper screen as standard whereas before it was an 8,0000 euro option so in effect a price cut. The French market for new EV is robust thanks to positive action from the government but the used ev sales market is more difficult. My EQC was still on my dealer’s inventory since my part ex in mid Dec when I checked last week.
The cars are horrendously expensive but even with some of the software glitches are I think in terms of luxury the best out there. Am waiting to see what the new generation EV Mercedes brings to market but France is looking to push manufacturers to smaller and lighter cars. I would happily accept a smaller lighter car so long as it felt as luxurious and had the same NVH as the EQE SUV does. Its size makes finding city car parks a tad difficult here where the majority of cars are smaller and once in them manouvering can be a bit stressful😉
