Change name (front the Center dash panel / screen)
My EQE SUV is shared w/ my spouse. we both have MercedesMe app installed in our phones and are able to 'talk' to the vehicle. In the center screen / display of the vehicle, 2 users (us of course) are listed also. (but we don't use / personalize). I remember I changed the way my name is displayed (it used to be my full name and I somehow changed it to just to show my 'first' name). Now I want to change my wife's name (instead of showing full she wants to show just her 'first')..... I totally forgotten how to do so. I tried 'update' via the MercedesMe app, but the change / update in the MercedesMe app will not update what the name is showing in the vehicle / center screen. Now her mercedesme app shows her 'shortened' name, but the center screen in the vehicle still showing her full name. (again we do not 'personalize' settings based on the 'user' selected in the vehicle, we always use just the 'none selected' / 'default' one). How can I change the way my wife's name is display in the 'user' / center screen?

I don't think you can achieve what you want without having -- and using -- two personal profiles in the vehicle.
If you have two MMe users with customized names in their respective MMe Apps, the customized name WILL transfer to the vehicle when selecting the relevant personal profile in the vehicle when starting.

I am surprised that you could get both your names displayed without using profiles, but you should use profiles. Just for kicks I often change my name to things like Genius, My Mann, Dreamer, etc. It fun when you have a passenger and the car greets you with Welcome back Genius.
