NACS adapter (Lectron) stuck on Tesla plug

My NACS adapter keeps getting stuck on the Tesla plug after a charge. Tried the recommended approach of pushing on Tesla plug before engaging the NACS disconnect lever but the adapter will not free. Usually after 5 min the adapter can be removed. Is there a Tesla interlock on their plug? or do I have a defective adapter

Sometimes the J3400 plugs are full of dirt or scratched up enough that they resist unplugging. After a few cycles, the adapter should become easier to use.

I always Leave the adapter on Car and then remove tesla. First Time i Tried to remove with both off Car, i could Not do it and thought I'd have to leave adapter at tesla station! Read on internet to disconnect as I mentioned and with car doing the holding of adapter, releasing tesla latch and it Comes put with just a little Force.

update. Appears the sticking problem caused my a stiff spring on the adapter interlock SW that you must press fully to disconnect the Tesla plug from the adapter. The MB OEM adapter is in a Lectron box (modified from Lectron website version) but the SW is much easier to compress and the adapter latch retracts further into the adapter recess allowing smooth removal of the Tesla plug. I just bought the MB OEM adapter from mbpartsource.com and all worked smooth. The parts source part is $10 cheaper than the mb dealer $185 price and it shipped same day for me from Tx
