EQE 350 4Matic Range?

Hi,

I’m looking to purchase my first Mercedes EV and wanted to know what folks are getting as their real-world range on the EQE 350 4Matic SUV. Can’t do the 350+ because we need AWD, and the EQS is too big.

What are your average miles when you charge to 80% and 100%? And what was your highest/lowest range based on weather and driving conditions?

I'd say during warmer months with a fully-loaded car and standard (non-EV) tires, you can certainly count on 285+ highway miles range on a full charge. We only do a full charge on the first leg of a long road trip. This equals about 3-4 hours of driving at highway speeds. At 80% you can probably expect around 230+ miles at highway speeds. In the winter, that number of course drops some. If it's about 10°F, we usually see around 200-210 miles at highway speeds on a full charge. The warmer it is, the longer the range, for sure. The car was super pessimistic this winter as the temperatures were in single digits for a bit this January, and we have Nokian WRG5 all-weather tires, which are significantly more winter-focused than all-season tires, and come with a range penalty of about 10-15% - but they are unstoppable in the cold. We had a fair bit of snow, which significantly increased rolling resistance, and the car adapts its range estimates accordingly. The car was estimating 180 miles full, but based on the actual consumption figures, I know that the actual range was higher - didn't really test it that much though. However, even when the car is driven in winter temperatures, we still get plenty of range for road trips, range simply hasn't been an issue with the car, at all.

We've had our EQE for a little over two months in a chilly Colorado winter. (Zero degrees F right now!)

We charge to 80% just about every night. Interestingly, about a week ago the estimated range displayed when first leaving home in the morning jumped up from an average of 160-170 miles - which never thrilled me - to between 180-200 miles. Of course the temp affects everything. 15 mile round trip yesterday and the range/percentage dropped from 185/80% to 125/58%..

For comparison, my wife took a Tesla Uber last night from the airport. She is a new EV convert and pays a lot of attention to all of them and said the car started at 100% and was at 17% when she arrived home!

At 100% charge the gauge would say max range 740km ish. But I never go below 35%..... and that would get me about 460km already before I took it for a recharge
