It's been embarassingly far too long, but as of yesterday's Mercedes Me Connect app on Android, it's finally updating correctly when the app is opened! No more opening, swiping away, and re-opening it to trigger a refresh. So far, it's been spot on every time. Maybe one or two minutes behind at most, but it's current information on charge rate and percentage, which is literally days better than it used to be. Upsetting that it took this long, but I'm glad it's working reliably!
