Rear Camera Flap
The rear camera behind the MB logo on my EQE opens every time I slow down below 20mph. My dealer tells me this is normal operation. I cannot believe this since it opens and closes everytime I slow down - will break, makes annoying noise, and looks bad. Any advice?

I have read in another post that it uses this activity to calibrate the camera. Try driving some laps in an empty parking lot at speed and then slowing down to allow the calibration to complete. Once done it should normally be closed.

Correct, it should behave normally after it adjusts itself. Easiest way to do it is to drive about 15 MPH / 25 KMH in a large parking lot like a movie theater lot. After a while, the camera should retract on its own once it's happy with what it sees.
