80A fuse recall

2023 EQE350 4MATIC, 2023 EQE 350 4MATIC SUV, 1995 E300 Diesel
80A fuse recall

EQE sedan and possibly SUV is being issued a recall for potentially improperly manufactured 80A fuses. Not sure what system they control, far too low current rating for traction inverters, but it may be for another component on the high voltage side. Not sure who manufactures the fuses. Recall notices going out on April 16th, fix is to replace entire fuse box.

I just checked my VIN on the website. There are no unrepaired recalls on my 2024 AMG EQE SUV.

Yes, it only affects 2023 models, I believe.

Not related to the EV components. Multiple ICE and EV models are affected.

You're right, I had read it quickly. Checked our SUV, it's not affected, our sedan is.
