Hi, there is some weird sound coming from the bonnet of my EQE it's just a year old and the sound started Hi, there is some weird sound coming from the bonnet of my EQE it's just a year old and the sound started yesterday.

with the sound the steering wheel also vibrates slightly. Can anyone advise what it could be?

It's likely your air conditioning compressor. Completely normal. You'll notice it more during hotter days. You can definitely feel it slightly through the steering wheel. As a note, this compressor also cools the battery, motor and inverter coolant loop, so you may hear it even if you don't engage the air conditioning. On hotter days, mine will spin up and run full tilt for a couple of minutes before slowing down to less noticeable levels. It's driven by a variable speed controller, so you generally will never hear it unless it has to ramp up to remove heat in the system.
