I just received a notification on my MBUX screen about a new RIDEVU app. It's a service from Sony Pictures including their entire digital library. There is a free preview after setting up an account. I'm trying to determine if some of my other digital movies can be associated with this app as well. You can choose on which screen you can to stream the content. Cool!

I'm not certain. I think it should work with a non-hyperscreen MBUX. You can choose the screen or screens which will display the content. It would not start until I was in Park.

Just got finished watching Ghostbusters in the app. I was able to view the movie on the center screen as well as the passenger display. Sound quality was great. The viewing area on the center display is set for 16:9 so that the controls are still visible and functional. The movie was free. The last Ghostbusters movie was a rental. Nice feature.
