Some small maintenance questions

I think a small rock chip hit the strip at the left side of windshield (called trap?) Its cosmetic , i ignored but it started annoying, while i got time i decide to find possible fix anyone knows what i need to make this look more natural?

Also after car wash, i forget wet towel in the boot, thinking to put cat litter in a sock, would it cause any issue? Does ac has humidifer that it will overwork or boot totally out of ac reach? (Yes i am that ignorant

Scratches on plastic can be tricky. I've removed some on the plastic fender liners of our SUV with some light/medium polish, but I'd be careful as it might affect the nearby finish on the rest of the strip. Can always test a small area that's hard to see first.

As for the wet towel, can you just leave the trunk (boot) lid open in the a garage for a few hours? Some hardware stores sell clay-based compounds that are used for moisture removal, can always try some of that in a sock or cloth bag.

Small update if you experience same issue :
For AC: I have asked dealer to do ozone threat , probably you could do your own if you have garage as bytemaster mentioned, I even read some people use vinegar solution instead, I have also bought an AC cleaner for future to do it myself
For plastic: That part is so soft so just using finger did the trick , I just swapped with light pressure until my finger feels hot and good old spit (you know what I mean if you have your own billard cue ), I also bought black plastic restorer but havent used yet
