Seatbelt making a ticking sound where it's fixed to the seat
Mentioned this in another thread, cos i thought it was the seat itself making the sound .
Turns out it's the seatbelt - see attached clip.
When driving it constantly clicks/ticks.
Does anybody else have the same problem ?
I imagine the position of the seat also has something to do with it as it impacts the angle of the seatbelt.
i could not find any official bulletin about it.

That sound is unusual. It's probably from play in the mounting point, and it may well be within tolerance for MB, but you may want to have them look at it. It should be safe to drive, but there may be excess play in the mount or attachment point.

Thee funny things is that it seems to be fixed in exactly the same way as the passenger seat.
Now, that seat also makes a noise if you yank the belt enough (like in the clip). yet when driving it does not make a sound ...
