Light Colored NAPPA Interior
This is the color of the interior of our 2024 EQE 500 SUV. Darling beautiful wife is worried that her bluejeans will stain the seats, as had happened one time previous on an X5 we had. Two possible solutions:
1) Protective coating - good for 6-12 months, then it must be re-applied - GTECHNIQUE Leather Guard AG
2) Sheepskin Covers
Has anyone else faced, or dealt with, this problem?The gentleman who does our ceramic coating recommends. GTECHNIQUE Leather Guard AG
For sheepskins I was thinking Overland Sheepskin or US Sheepskins.
Even with a guard, you will need to clean the blueing off the seats but the protection will not allow the dye to soak into leather. Personally I have found that regular cleaning keeps the seats clean. I dont wear jeans but many of my friends do in a light tan interior. In that Nappa is not synthetically coated, ive never wanted add a third party coating but opt to clean regularly. Leatherique is my go-to.
