New E-Class EQ EV will replace the EQE
The EQE sedan and SUV models are being discontinued this year and Mercedes will introduce a new E-Class EQ EV in 2027.
Unlike the EQE design, the new Class will have a classic 3 box sedan shape. Expect the car to be larger with a longer wheelbase, similar to the BMW G60 5Series (over 5M)
The car will be based on the MB.EA-M platform, based on similar tech as the GLC EQ and new C-Class EQ, along with the interior styling (GLC shown below). Expect a 100kWh+ battery size and feature the new point t point Level 2++ MB.Drive Assist Pro, along with a new Level 3 autonomous drive option.

For right now there is no direct shoe-in for that model and the GLC EQ fills the gap for the moment.
