Two dealerships within 30 miles of my home have EQS SUV's (450 and 580) in stock ready to sell. It sounds like your build is waiting on parts or a color to go into production. Any idea what it may be?
No, He said MB currently is only sending updates twice a month so one should be coming up soon. This dealership in Sugarland, Texas has none in stock and the 5 one their web site already have deposits holding them when they come in.

I feel your pain brother, I ordered a BMW IX a year ago and it still hasn’t made it to the dealership. It’s been sitting at a port for two months and they have no idea why. Of course, I’m happy that deal fell through, and I ended up in the EQS SUV, which is what I really wanted all along. When you do get it, you will just love it. Hang in there.

My car went into production September 20. Last I heard it wasn’t completed yet. My build is pretty standard, 450 4matic. Polar white with third row, neva grey interior. I didn’t get the running boards or anything that I feel like might hold it up. The only thing a little rare maybe is that I chose the aluminum lined yacht wood finish? Neva grey headliner?

The EQS 580 SUV that we bought was a custom order. We didn't order it but the customers that did passed on it due to the higher than expected lease. So we bought his custom ordered EQS SUV.
any update on your car? I was going to reach out to my SA next week, it’s been two weeks since I last asked for an update.
I was contacted last Saturday October 15th. and told my 580 had officially left VPN and placed into the delivery pool. Seven days later with no further information. I realize automotive shipping is a mess now so who knows the time line…..

No updates from my dealer. I find it annoying that they all claim Netstar doesn’t tell them anything. I think it is BS. How can they not know how to use their own software.
Update for those still waiting. Car went into production 9/20 and should be here by the end of this week. I’ll be picking up next Wednesday since I’ll be out of town this weekend. Build looks exactly as it was when the order was placed in May.
I picked up an EQS 450 4Matic SUV on 29-Oct. Bought it off the lot. I estimate that there were about 20 EQS SUVs available at nearby Philadelphia dealers. I was considering the EQE 500 SUV, but ended up getting the EQS for the extra cargo space and $7500 tax credit in 2022.
Looks like mine. Picked mine up Monday in Oklahoma City and drove it back to Austin. Had one on order but cancelled and got this off the lot for the $7500 tax credit as well. Love it so far!
Once cleared for transport Mercedes no longer has access to tracking as many independent haulers are used. Mine cleared October 15th. and my dealer called me 17 days later here in Sugarland, Texas and said it was being unloaded. Yours should arrive soon!

Thanks that gives me hope I will receive my wife's car before the year end. Mine is due for production on the 13th.

And it did! I am, of course, out of town for business but it arrived on Monday. I’ll pick it up Thursday morning. Thanks for the encouragement!
