Ambient lighting warning support inoperative

Struggling with this new error message that keeps showing up intermittently for the last week . Has anyone else seen this ?

2023 EQS 580 SUV Selenite Grey

I have the same intermittent problem come up twice now. Have an appt with dealer in 3 weeks due to loaner availability. But oddly I did not notice any difference with the active ambient lighting, it still flashed red when raising the temp and blue when lowering. Still flashed red when I purposely crossed the double yellow line.

Also randomly got a message that the left front low beam has failed, it happened around dusk. Thinking some sensor was not able to determine that the left low beam was actually on. I did pull over and saw that the low beams were on and looked normal.

I’ve gotten that message on my EQE when I start the car with the driver’s door open. If I remember to close the door before starting, I’ve never seen it.

I had the same error message. It turned out I had a lose connector on the front passenger door. The dealer said they tightened the connector and i haven't seen the error message since then.
