I have this issue where the app is unable to show the accurate current status of the 580 SUV. For example .. I once received the window open alert correctly on the app but after closing the window the alert stays on and never clears. Same problem with preconditioning .. it does not show the current settings on the app. Anyone else have these issues ?

I'm guessing your car is not connecting to the cell service in your garage or wherever the connection issue happens.
Cell reception can be one cause, but some other folks have had issues with the vehicle status not updating and what resolved it is going into Manage Services, turn off Vehicle Status and then turn it back on. Logging out of the app and back in can also clear up connection isues.
