Starter battery
I know there has been at least one earlier (old) post about this but it did not include a resolution so wanted to see if anyone had any new ideas.
I suddenly got a pop up from the app and an automated email that the starter battery is critical. Note: car was not sitting idling for a long time, it was driven normally just last night, and the temp is in the 70s. Main battery charge was 40%.
Went to the garage to try starting the car. Would not start. Electronics (and even AC came in), but I did not get "ready to drive" and would not shift gears. Switched back off. Then in again - everything works.
Any idea how to avoid this in the future? Or what to do when this happens? For good measure, I'm now at a starting station charging the car, but I don't feel confident this won't happen again regardless of charge level of main battery.

Consider reporting this to a local MB dealership even if it doesn’t happen again. If enough folks report this happening Mercedes will look for a fix. If enough folks do not report this they will not consider it a fault.

I got same message Mercedes me connect: Battery Monitor – Charge Status Critical one time via Mercedes me app and email too during wrapping my car last week.
shop said two-three weeks ago another white EQS580 SUV got same message too and they hooked up a charger too.

I posted on another thread that I had this error once and MB has a fix and software update for it. Take it to your dealer.
