While installing the 12 volt accessory socket in the center console of my EQS SUV the past two days the doors were open for several hours. When I finished the project today I noticed that the phone app was indicating that the "Starter Battery" was Partially Charged. Pressing the info button while the battery status was Partially Charged displayed a warning that the car might not start if not charged. Normally, the info message tells you that the main purpose of the 12v battery is to start the engine. :-)
I drove the car for 20 miles and the Starter Battery status has changed to Charged in the app. I wish there was a 12 volt battery status indication on the dashboard. The Taycan displayed the voltage level, usually around 13.5v.
