Regarding Cell Balancing.
There is one instruction in the owner's manual that I don't see gets mentioned often, or at all.
"Every six months, when the outside temperature is above 50 °F (10 °C), park the vehicle overnight with a condition of charge below 20%"
This indicates that the EQ cars do bottom cell balancing - the purpose of the above instruction is to allow time for the car to do cell balancing when charge is below 20%.

Some EVs do top balancing when the car is fully charged, while some like Mercedes do bottom balancing,
