Buggy carpool preference during navigation
Every time I use the route navigation, it asks me if I want to use carpool lane. I select no. But then it ignores my input and still shows instructions taking me to carpool lane. Do you see the issue? Any fixes?
I don't have MBUX, but in COMAND I can set the number of occupants in the vehicle in the route options, and I've set it to 1, so I never get instructions to use the HOV lane, unless it's one of the Lexus lanes where single occupancy vehicles can pay to use the lane and I just ignore it unless it's a weekend and the use of the lane is free.
In stop and go bumper to bumper freeway traffic navigation keeps telling me to exit and use the feeder though hundreds of cars have already done that and the feeders are bumper to bumper stop and go also ….
Happens when the driver, who can only see what is ahead, thinks they know more than the navi system that is looking at the complete route. I have no way of knowing whose judgement is better so I often just go along for the scenic adventure.

I have the same issue. EQS 2023. Where do Ind the route options in the ne layer menu.

Mine keeps routing me through every toll road in Houston regardless of my settings. Apparently if you select "fastest" that means "ignore all my preferences and do whatever you want".

How do you select fastest? I don't see any route optimization options in mine and last week it did some odd recommendations, trying to take me out of interstate despite there being no traffic.
