We’re going to order an EQS SUV, we love the white looking interiors but couldn’t tell if that’s the macchiato beige or neva grey. Is the macchiato beige very light/nearly white?
Alternatively does anyone (dealer?) have access to both and can post pics to compare?

I would describe Macchiato Beige as an almond color. I like the way it looks in my EQS SUV, but it's hard to keep clean. If you or your passengers frequently wear blue denim jeans, the almond colored seats will soon be tinted blue. My previous seven MBs had black interiors and I decided to change things up with the EQS SUV. I regret not getting another black interior even if it seems a bit boring.

Thanks! We have kids, they were jeans and do messy things like horse riding, so the light interior might be a terrible idea, but both my wife and I are dead set of a light interior after a string of cars with black interiors.
Sorry to impose but would you do me a favor of posting a pic of your macchiato beige interior in natural daylight? Either sunny or cloudy is fine, just let me know which it was.
Are your seats leather, Nappa leather, or MANUFAKTUR leather? Is one more resilient to denim jeans over the other?
Nappa leather seats have diamond pattern stitching on both the front and rear seats. My understanding is that the Nappa leather is worse with respect to blue jeans. It's not just the leather that is a problem, the cloth on the front corners of the seat bottoms also gets stained. My driver seat bottom was replaced (for another reason) and I Scotch Guarded the cloth corners of the replacement cover and that seems to help. I also started to clean and condition the front seat bottoms often.
Second photo shows the stained seats before the cushion was replaced.
Placed my order for the EQS 2024 SUV. We went with the Emerald Green exterior and Nappa leather in Macchiato beige interior We got to see a different car in the Macchiato interior, its a beauty.

I worn blue Jean 100% of the time at 11 months and 10,700 miles I don’t see any blue stains on my seats. I do sweat alot and my leather belt do stain the lower back seat and I get a lot of shoes stain on the trims.

All my jeans are 15-20 years old so no problem stains for me. 😊

How's everyone cleaning their EQS SUV? DIY? Weekly detail service? Automatic car wash?
I clean my EV every 2-3 weeks at home the old fashion way, bucket, microfiber mitt and chemical guys car wash soap. It doesn't rain to often in socal. And i never take it an auto wash.

My cleaning regime is likely more obsessive than most. Biweekly waterless car wash in my underground parking garage, or weekly if there has been rain or snow and none predicted for the next few days. Coin hand spray wash every two months with foam tire cleaner. More intense coin wash every six months with application of graphene coating. There is also regular glass, tire, and interior treatments.
Absolutely no automatic car washes even with touchless to avoid swirls and rim scrapes. Been doing this for years.
Obviously this is with a long term ownership plan and not a leased vehicle.

Working on the specs for a Cayman S. I’ve pretty much settled on Shark Blue. I also plan on getting the leather interior and extended deviated stitching (probably GT Silver). What are your thoughts on the Blue leather interior with the Shark Blue exterior paint? Stick with Black leather? Thanks!
