dropped off my EQS580 sedan today for replacing corroded tailgate close button. I requested a EV loaner and received a 2023 EQE 350 SUV 4matic. only about ~1000 miles.
it is not my 1st time getting a EQE suv loaner. but when I unlock the car, I heard a sound from the car outside speaker.
a welcome sound/music when you unlock the car. this surprised me. it is very soft and warm sound. it really makes you feel luxury. which I am sure it is not in last loaner EQE350.
as soon as I press start button, another start sound which I feel it is better than 23 EQS.

driving is nothing impress so we can skip. windshield wiper just like EQS skipping I wonder what is wrong with Mercedes. 3 of Mercedes EV are all having wiper skipping issue.

when locking the car; instead making 2 short horn or no sound; it using a short music/sound which is soft and warm too.

I am not sure later 23 EQS and 24 EQS has this option but those welcome/lock/unlock music makes the car to next level. I wonder is that possible have Mercedes add this to next EQS update.

This short music/sound on my EQE SUV was enabled when MBUX was upgraded from 329 to 330. It was in Settings > Vehicle > Driving > Sound Experience > Outside. Much better than the double horn beep.

No wiper issues on my car. The windshield is cleaned regularly with Invisible Glass cleaner and wiped with a soft towel. The blades are also wiped with the towel after spraying some of the cleaner on the towel.

I dont think EQS sedan with ver.330 have it but I will check it out. EQS SUV not yet have any update.

edit: I was wrong, both Eqs sedan and suv has it. I never knew. Thank you for the info

My 23' AMG was a April production date. The exterior sound is quite interesting. People describe it as spaceship like or some kind of sound from a sci-fi movies. I wish eventually, it can be programmed for other sounds Beeps and honks appear very dated when you have exterior sounds on the EQS.

I guess the magic part is what is required to get it to stop skipping.

there is the funny part, the main reason for this appointment for was for fixing my truck switch. it was back order and waited for two months, but they found out the trunk switch came in wrong. I have to go back tomorrow to have it replace..

good afternoon sir, you're not going to believe this but your trunk switch came mispackaged. it was the correct part number on the box but the wrong part inside the box, i reordered it however it will not arrive until probably wed because of christmas...i put new wipers on for you so that is good, i'll have the vehicle ready for pick up @ 3:30 & we are open until 7--i'm sorry
