Getting those early 2022 allocations is not fun(mine is Feb). While waiting the extra few months is not the most annoying thing ever, missing the $7,500 incentive is way more annoying.
(Looks like Congress will change it for 2022 to exclude expensive vehicles)

These sites are guessing based on European pricing. It will be interesting to see where the EQS 450 and 580 base price actually lands for US buyers.

"Estimated time of a demo vehicle arriving in the US: November-December. The estimated production date for this order is the first ten days of February. In general it takes about 7-10 weeks for vehicles built in Europe to arrive here at the dealer which would mean an April arrival."
Damn, April is a long way off but the months seem to click away pretty fast the older you get, lol.

Earliest customer cars are Sept and Oct production for both cars. VERY few 580's though.
If the car is launched on time you MIGHT see them before the end of the year.
I have a 2021 MY GLS which sorta finished production August 18th but waiting for rear seat power module. I was told that it should be completed by October 1st but I checked with the dealer today and he said no change in status :-(
I would have thought that MB would rather get a near complete car out the door before switching over to make more new cars and shipping them completely. So disappointed. I am really tempted to go to MB Manhattan or MB Edison to buy one off the lot but don’t want to screw my dealer. That said, my wife is eating my brains out that we don’t have a family car anymore (only other car we have is a tiny Fiat 500c Abarth and that is a tight squeeze even for our small family…)
Anyone know why my car would be stuck while MY2022’s are getting g shipped out? FWIW my dealer said a VIN has been assigned and shared it with me. He said only feature it will be missing from my build request is the augmented reality.
