Tesla J1772 Charger

Tesla's offering a J1772 charger now that will work with the EQS and with an adapter also Tesla. I've already got a Chargepoint that will do this. Otherwise, I'd be interested in it. I don't understand why MB is not doing a proprietary charger. J1772 Tesla Charger

I saw a news article today that stated Tesla was doing a pilot in Sweden allowing non Tesla cars to charge using the Tesla superchargers. That is probably why they have the adapter. The new version of the Tesla app will also support other vehicles (I guess at least in Sweden for now). They did mention that they will be monitoring congestion so I would suspect they would raise prices for non Tesla vehicles to reduce congestion.

It's probably just a matter of time before MB offers the wall box offered at other countries - https://www.mercedes-benz.com/en/inn...rging-at-home/

MB never really marketed their PHEVs/EVs all that hard (or at all... I didn't even know there was an S560e) until the EQS.
