Nappa Leather
Hello,
I am very much tempted to spec Nappa Leather given it's only a $1300+ option but I have a 2 year old and am worried how much wear/wrinkles a car seat would cause on Nappa vs just the regular leather.
Anyone have any thoughts?
Thank you!

I'm working with my local MB dealership on potentially ordering the 450+. I wanted the black/sable brown nappa leather - a $1,370 option. Don't know which nappa leather option you are considering...but there is an expensive catch with the black/sable brown nappa leather. That leather requires the black microfiber headline (option 61U) - a $1,600 additional option. So net net...getting the black/sable brown nappa leather actually costs an additional $2,970. I think I will skip the nappa leather option.

Nappa does not wear as well. I had Nappa in my E63 and was disappointed with the wear. Similar high end leathers by Porsche and BMW fare better.
It is a fine choice (I am getting Nappa) but it does require care and maintenance.

I would probably get a nano coating. And then clean and condition every month.
Even that may not be sufficient. On my E63 the drivers seat developed a few wrinkles on the bolster despite the fact that my wife (the main driver) is a lightweight driver. Plus one time a kid wore a wet denim jacket (wet due to rain) which caused stains which required the dealer to re-dye the leather.
