Do the stars on the EQS grill light up/refract the LED band light?

Do the stars on the EQS grill light up/refract the LED band light?
I heard it mentioned in passing in a couple reviews but I'm not sure. It'd be great if the grill acted as a light guide and the stars refracted the light to have an effect sorta like the Vision EQS.

I can't wait for mine to arrive! 😁🤩

The stars don't light up, although that would be very cool, but the lights are recognizable at night due to the light bar up front.

Agree, one of the many things that the Vision EQS has but wasn't brought over. By the way, congrats on your EQS order!

Yes, you can install an illuminated star on EQS. I have seen 3 cars with illuminated stars. My car did not come with it. I have asked the Dealer service center if they can install it, and they said yes. Waiting for the confirmation and the price.
