A week after taking delivery of my EQS I looked in the driver footwell and noticed that my EQS was missing the plastic plate that normally covers the hood release. Is anyone else missing this piece? I am assuming the VPC or dealer forgot to put it back.

Mine has the cover snapped into place, but the screw is missing. Someone has done me a favor if I ever need quick access.......thanks!

I'd be very careful with this. Unlike a normal hood that has a safety catch, this hood does not. So if the hood is unlatched, there is nothing stopping it from flying open at speed. Not that anyone would unlatch it while driving, but rather, if it is opened and then not closed properly, it could fly open the next time the car is driven.
