I received the news late today that Mercedes will not increase the price of the EQS 580 for the vehicles already sold.

Is this for customised orders? Is the order not binding? Our cars always come at the exact price at the time the order is signed. Only if external changes occur like car tax changes, the price changes accordingly (up or down). Our orders however are strictly binding, there is a significant penalty if one does not complete the purchase.

All I know is that the general manager told me that those who ordered/purchased the EQS 580 months ago will not be affected by the price hike. That includes yours truly. My car has been in Baltimore at the VPC since April 5. It was surveyed a few days ago and could be placed on a truck for transport any day now. The GM called the VPC and asked for the status since I was selling my S 450. They said they would expedite it.
