We thought we did everything you mention but maybe not. I've spent several hours on this issue the past couple days. It's getting to be very annoying. I just got off the phone with Mercedes and they say there is some sort of problem with the activation process. I sent them a photo of the error message. The first advisor I talked to at about 7:30 PM told me that I need to go directly to the website "me.mercedes-benz.com", login, and follow the steps. I tried that at least 20 times and it seems to be on a do loop once I click on "save". It keeps saying "add more details." The second advisor that I just talked to told me they would get back to me. We'll see. I'm going to print your email and show it to the dealer tomorrow. Thanks my friend.

I have received confirmation emails from charge point and MB that my activation is complete and that plug and charge are ready. However the MB App still "doesn't know" all the duckies are in order. Unfortunately, there are exactly zero places I can charge in my vicinity (except my garage) so I wont know till I go on a road trip somewhere. Lastly I don't drive very far often, about 20 miles a day. I've charged the car once (when I drove it from the dealer). I haven't since and still I have 50%. At this pace Ill have to charge every couple of weeks or so. Note, this is despite sitting around playing with the system for hours, listening to the radio for hours while waiting for the kid's activities, running the AC while stopped, giving it "the beans" on a regular basis and so on. I'm truly duly impressed.
I now see on Mercedes me charge that they put a note up. It says “for technical reasons the transfer of date cannot be done at this time. Try again later.”
At least my home charger now works great.

I have not received such an email from Mercedes. I even talked to them a couple times the past 2-3 days. I don’t understand it. Maybe, the dealer did something wrong when setting it up. But on the other hand, why is there now an error message on the activation page from Mercedes? I already told you above what it says.

Use the car's mercedes button. I think the app was lagging for some reason. When I called from the car we did the activation using the me connect website rather the app. You could give a try on the website before calling. If that fails then calling through the car is the best option. The assistant was great, helpful, patient and best of all, fixed it!

My email note did not arrive until 3-4 days after my sales person assured me it was active. He was wrong! As soon as that message arrived I was getting the free 30-minute sessions on EA. That perk was enhanced even more when I took my wife's GLK 350 to the gas pump and dropped $57 for 12 gallons! And the gas smell was really bothersome

Hallelujah, gloriaski !!! I received a notification about an hour ago that I’m now ready for plug and charge. Sure enough, 6 out of 6 are activated. I am fully registered. I have no idea why it takes this long for Mercedes to activate plug and charge.

When you plug in at EA, the screen prompts you to simply plug in, the car and EA chargers do a handshake and recognize your car and it starts charging. I have had an issue when the handshake did not occur. I changed EA charging stations and still had a problem. Call the 800 number listed and give the station ID and they fix it within minutes.

I’m trying to use the EA App. It asked me to open an account. I did so, but it then asked me for an enrollment code from the car manufacturer. How do I find this code on Mercedes me connect?

I downloaded the EA app - the one with the lightning bolt EA logo - and on the first page that asks for you to create an account, there is a "skip" in the top right corner. Tap that and it will show nearby locations. I believe that if you create another EA account it will cause a conflict with the MeAccount. Same for ChargePoint.
