It took 4 days for MB me people to fix the same problem, which was escalated to the next level. I was told that someone would contact me, but it turned out they must have done this on the backend and sent the activation notice on my app. No email.
When I circled back to the dealership, I was told once again that I didn't need to be activated and that they followed the instruction they got from MB.
