ppf on sunroof?
Where I live, rock chips seem to happen pretty frequently, so I’m wondering about the utility of putting ppf on the sunroof.
I suppose there’d be some protection for small gravels.
Has anyone done this?

Sounds like a good idea. Glass roofs have been known to shatter from road debris. Hyundai vehicles in particular have had the issue (according to report) I have not known about MBs having the problem but I dont think a any glass roof is immune. As far as I know manufacturers use the same type of glass that thet use for their windows. As far as I know there are no kits available so it would have to be custom job.
the first thing I do to my vehicles is to apply "aquapel" to all my glass EXCEPT THE WINDSHIELD. Its an extremely durable water repelling polymer that theoretically offers some impact protection it work VERY well. Though its intended as a kind of permanent windshied treatment I don't use it there because it makes MB wipers chatter horribly and its almost impossible to remove. However, its an asset on all the windows and, of course, the glass roof. Its like a semipermanent Rain X. How much orotection it offers from chipping I cant tell.
