EQS power ratings.

I'm willing to bet that the 516hp power rating of the 580 is very underrated. Given the super heavy weight status of this car I bet its in 550+ range. When you bury the accelerator at any speed this thing is just gone. It is certainly a significantly faster than my tuned E43 which has about 420hp.

Agree. It is very impressive. Feels like AMG 63 power.

Mercedes Benz of Gilbert (AZ) has an EQS AMG available for anyone interested. Asking price $176K (includes free shipping).

Way too much for a slightly faster 580 with less range. Only for those that must have an AMG badge. If thats the case I would wait for the must certainly upcoming 63 version which should be properly fast compared to the other one trick pony EVs

I have to agree 100% with you on this about the 580. I do not claim to be an expert on this, but it feels faster in the warmer weather. Also some interesting ICE comparisons to performance sedans:

CTS-5V Blackwing - Manual/Auto 3.6-3.7 secs 0-60

EQS 580 3.7 secs 0-60.

Merging on a highway on ramp is one of my favorite things to do now in this car.
