Tidal on Burmester question.

Tidal on Burmester question.
Does anyone know how to get Tidal natively through the radio? Not through android auto.... The radio sources has an Icon for Tidal right on it.

Make sure you are subscribed to the data package and me connect is fully activated. Go to the media section and on the top you will see Online Music. You will see Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify and Tidal. When you click tidal, it will show you a QR code. Scan it on your phone and log in to your Tidal account. Once you are logged in, it will automatically load your library.

My area's cell phone coverage is spotty and I'm not willing to pay another bill for data service.That is the main issue....

Is there any way of knowing what audio quality is available via the Tidal/online streaming option in the EQS? I have the unlimited data package activated in the EQS, but it may not be worth adding a Tidal subscription if the system limits audio quality.
With Apple Music, I don't see any way to choose whether I'm streaming hi-res, lossless, standard, etc. as I can on an iPhone or via CarPlay. After some Googling, I believe Apple CarPlay supports lossless audio up to 16 bit/48 kHz (hence, ho hi-res), but am still playing around with it to figure out whether CarPlay or the native app in MBUX is the better option.

Thanks--that's music to my ears and would definitely make a Tidal subscription worthwhile. The ease of streaming and shuffling music on a playlist has made me too lazy to put music on a USB even though I know it would yield the best sound quality from hi-resolution audio files. ;-)
