Tire pressure warning

Got the low tire pressure warning, but the displayed number was 41 (one psi below the number on the A pillar)
Kept on driving, and as expected, with the heat, pressure went up to 42 psi both front tires but the warning persisted.
Will wait until the morning and see if the warning goes away.
Anyone seen this?

It does seem to be quite sensitive to pressure changes but once I added air, the warning went away. While the warning was on did you also get alerts that some of the driver assist functions were not available? They seem to be linked.

Can't you reset the "set point" (let some air out, reset the TPMS and then refill) so you are not so close to the trigger point?

How do you reset the TPMS?
I think I may have problem with calibration because this morning I inflated the tires, and now I have different readings between the app and my trusted gauge.

They take a short drive to figure themselves out.

Is it a significant difference? No difference before inflating tyres? Sounds odd. A small difference between the sensor readings and the gauge is normal (the gauge may be more off than the sensors but the sensors are neither absolutely accurate and they do not need to be).

Latest Mercedes cars are quite clever and detect automatically tyre changes (like changing between winter and summer tyres). They detect tyre inflation but not necessary adjust the warning threshold automatically if you decrease pressure at some point. I'd reset TPMS after any tyre change or tyre pressure update. You should find the reset option from the cluster service menu.

Now, on the app, 45 LF, 44 RF, 52 LR, 51 RR.
Specified : 41 R, 48 R.
Yesterday: tire warning on dashboard and app.
Today: only warning on dashboard.
I did take the car out for a spin after the inflation.
My Honda would have corrected by now.

Have you tried some other gauge at a tyre shop or some other place to get a second opinion against the car figures?

Perhaps you have not deleted the cluster warning after the first occurrence? Not sure if it should clear from the cluster too once the warning conditions do not apply any more.

Thanks for all the inputs. Much appreciated.
After struggling with this for 2 days, I brought the car to the dealership today.
They found a few error codes, which they attributed to the critical 12 V battery state that I had when the car was at the tint shop for PPF. The shop had opened the hood and that caused the 12 V battery problem. Somehow, in some way, the car was not able to reset the tire warning despite appropriate psi.
By the way, to manually reset the tire pressure warning, press the home button on the steering wheel, scroll the odometer view all the way to the right where you see Service. Select this and so on.
