EQS Hitch Mount

EQS Hitch Mount
So it turns out that the EQS is rated to tow 750 KG in some markets so a hitch must be a possibility. Has anyone found a 2" receiver hitch setup yet? I am not looking to tow, but would definitely like to mount a 1UP bike rack on a hitch out back on our for trips. I don't have any interest in a roof rack, SeaSucker, etc. Have a Ram 2500 so don't NEED this setup, it would just be a great option.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated!

Coming back to this topic!
My EQS 580 has no tow hitch, and did some investigation. There is indeed availability for aftermarket tow hitch, but they are not officially available for AMG Line - might work but not verified. The problem is that currently there does not seem to be an aftermarket tow hitch CAN bus cable for EQS sedan. Our local MB dealer told that most likely MB's own cable would not be suitable for after market tow hitch. In the end, I just decided to order an installation of MB's OEM tow hitch. A bit expensive and limited in weight limit but still usable.

I also got an offer for mounting the original OEM tow hitch at my dealer. The dealership would charge about 7k€. What did you pay? I am hesitating. For this price you can buy a used car with tow hitch ![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)

5-6k€. Super expensive, but so is the car. I was also thinking of using another car, but now I could use it to transport bikes at the back etc. Also worth considering is the registered weight limit: 750kg. Physical limit of the hitch is around 1000kg, so no larger boats to move.
