Center console
My S580 has that black piano plastic cover over the compartment that has the cup holders. I liked that the EQS had the trim material there in photos and videos (like walnut).
Many of the photos on the dealers listings have the black plastic there on the EQS.
Is it an option or is it on the 580 but not the 450? The plastic really attracts finger prints and scratches easily.

The Hyperscreen is standard and only available on the 580 and AMG due to the chip shortage. A small number of 450’s were built with it, but they are only available with the S-Class style portrait screen. This is one of the reasons (along with AWD) that the 580 is highly sought after.

It looks very nice but peesonally its a little over the top. If you like it, why not? Is it worth 1500, absolutely not! Not even if it were made of a solid block of real mahogany!

So Im very glad I selected the yacht design wood. My wife who is generally unimpressed by anything short of a Bentley also agrees.
